Uniquely Chalked

The first of many classes were held this week...

20 fun gals all showed up

eager to learn about 

CHALK-style painting...

We opened up a few paint jars

and the fun began...

the creativity in the room was 

mind-blowing..

and they all said they

had NO talent???

Come on!

We provided the supplies

and some scraps,

and they each made a masterpiece!

No TWO were exactly alike!!

A fun evening of 

painting and "de-stressing"

it doesn't get much better than that!

Oh, and you get to take home 

a cute new Halloween picture!

Our first Art Show...

The Spirit of South Dakota Annual Award Banquet

invited The Prairie Preservationist and other local artists

to present their work before the event.

it was a wonderful display of 

PRAIRIE...pure and simple

South Dakota represented in 

oils, acrylics, watercolors and photography...

The Prairie Preservationist was grateful

for the opportunity to showcase the artistic

aspect of our store...

and felt right at home with the beautiful people

nominated for this wonderful award.
