Huron Heritage Hometown Pride Part Two

It's a little garden
blooming with SHOES!

Potters Shoe Store
is blooming with
the latest styles in footwear...

Time to get a pedicure
and buy some new sandals!

What a fun shoe store to shop in...

This Prairie Preservationist loved
the displays
and how they use
VINTAGE
items throughout the store
to show off all
the wonderful shoes!!

Potters has been doing
what they do best for
75 years now!

With her brother's Photography studio
above the shoe store,
Susan Landstom Fullerton's
family has owned the store
since 1941

It is such an asset to the town of Huron, South Dakota

and another
great example
of
the great long-time
business owners
with hometown pride!

thanks Potters

Shopping In Huron

Holy Shamrocks, March is half over!...

do you have your seed potatoes yet?

It's time to head to your favorite
farm supply store and stock up
for spring planting...

RUNNINGS has seeds and chicks in!

I wonder how long ducklings would
survive on a farm with two
golden retrievers?

This bunny would be safe as long as he
didn't come out from under the barn!

I would love to have me another rooster!
This one would be perfect!
No "Cock-a-doodle-doo" at 6a.m.

On  your next trip to Runnings
don't forget to come downtown
and visit!

We're back to our normal hours now:
Tuesday - Friday 10:00-5:30
Saturday 10:00-2:00

See you soon!

Huron Heritage Hometown Pride Part One

Consider this your invitation
to get out and enjoy yourself...

Spring is peeking through the window,
calling us out of our nests!

and the downtown shops
of Huron are ready to
cater to your every desire...

so order up a cappuccino grande
from "Don't Spill the Beans"
the girls will top it off with
whipped cream and send you off with a smile...

If milk and donuts is more your style,
then head down to "The Donut Shoppe"
for the best there is!

Marlo Peters has been making donuts here for 32 years!
(that's a lot of donuts!)
Hannah will help you pick one out, but trust me,
you'll want to take a bag full home with you!

Now that your taste buds are satisfied,
head up the street to do some shopping!

Downtown Huron has some
wonderful shops, dedicated business people,
and truly unique wares and services!

Starting with Smith Jewelry...

Sue and Les Christen, owners
Jewelry, Gifts and Home Decor
fill this beautiful store.
Family owned since 1910

Our neighbor to the north
is Sue Cameron of Merle Norman Cosmetics
Sue has been selling cosmetics and doing
specialty facials since 1977.
The store was started by her mother in 1962.

 Across the street,
stop by Walker's Flower Shop...
fresh flowers
and plenty of spring time decor
will fill your senses with delight...

The girls will help you with a floral arrangement
or decorating advice...

Spring is the season...

and shopping local
is a great reason
to visit downtown Huron!!
